What are the mandatory qualifications required for this position?
The mandatory qualifications include being a graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program, being registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, having current emergency nursing experience as an asset, and possessing certifications in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS), Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).
Are there any specific certifications that the successful applicant must obtain after employment?
Yes, the successful applicant must obtain Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification within six months of employment and Triage Certification (eCTAS) after 24 months of Emergency experience.
What are the work hours for this position?
The position involves working opposite shifts of 11am-11pm.
What is the expected patient care delivery model?
The expected model is a Total Patient Care Delivery system in which regulated health care professionals practice to their full scope, adhering to the practice standards as defined by the College of Nurses of Ontario.
