What are the mandatory qualifications required to apply for this position?
Applicants must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program, registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, have current emergency nursing experience (an asset), and hold certifications in BCLS, ACLS, PALS, as well as Basic Arrhythmia Interpretation Certification within 6 months of employment.
Is COVID-19 vaccination required for applicants?
Yes, all applicants must provide proof of two doses of full vaccination against COVID-19 or submit written proof of a medical or religious exemption as per Organization Policy.
What are the working hours for this position?
The Registered Nurses in the Emergency Department work opposite shifts from 11 am to 11 pm.

Yes, BCHS provides 24/7 support including managers on call, physicians, allied health, and support staff to aid employees in high-intensity situations.
