You will be working in the Monitored Care Unit (MCU), which is a unique 9-bed unit that provides specialized care for acute cardiac and medical patients.
What are the educational requirements for this position?
Graduation from an approved School of Nursing with current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM) is required. Additionally, completion of applicable post-graduate coursework or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is expected.
Is certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) necessary?
Yes, current certification in Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) is required for this position.
