The position being offered is a Registered Nurse (N2) in the Catheter Lab at St. Boniface Hospital.

A minimum of two (2) years of recent nursing experience is required, with a preference for prior experience in ICU or a minimum of three (3) years in an Adult Emergency Room.

Yes, applicants must be graduates from an approved School of Nursing.
What certifications are required for this position?
Current registration or eligibility for registration with C.R.N.M. is required, along with current B.L.S. certification; A.C.L.S. certification is preferred.

The salary range for this position is between $40.616 to $49.826, depending on experience.
Are there any special training requirements?
Yes, successful completion of the Critical Care Nursing Orientation Program (CCNOP) theory and lab skills will be required if no applicants have the required ICU or Adult Emergency Room experience. An Advanced Assessment course or equivalent education is preferred.
What are the physical requirements for this job?
Employees are required to have manual dexterity and visual and aural acuity. They must also wear a Lead Apron weighing approximately 15-20 lbs. for prolonged periods during hours of work.
Is there any incentive available for full-time employees?
Yes, the successful applicant may be eligible for an annual full-time incentive of up to $2,000 each year until 2025 as per MOU #31 of the current MNU collective agreement.
What is the required documentation for employment?
A current satisfactory Criminal Records Check, Child Abuse Registry Check, and Adult Abuse Registry Check are required as conditions of employment.
