What qualifications are required for this role?
Candidates must have graduation from an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing, current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the BCCNM, and two years of recent related experience in treating individuals with mental health and/or concurrent disorders.
Is a valid driver's license required for this position?
Yes, a valid Class 5 BC Driver's License and access to a personal vehicle with appropriate insurance coverage are required.
What types of patients will I be working with in this role?
You will be providing treatment and care management services for individuals with mental illness and concurrent disorders, including substance use and developmental disorders.
