Candidates must be graduates of an approved School of Nursing or Psychiatric Nursing and have current practicing registration as a Registered Nurse and/or Registered Psychiatric Nurse with the British Columbia College of Nurses and Midwives (BCCNM).
How much experience is required for this role?
One (1) year's recent, related gerontological nursing experience or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience is required.
Is a First Aid certification required for this role?
Yes, a current Level 1 First Aid certificate is required.
What types of care will the RN/RPN provide?
The RN/RPN will provide person-centered direct nursing care including wound care, dementia care, and palliative care.
