What are the mandatory qualifications for the Registered Practical Nurse - Operating Room position?
The mandatory qualifications include being a graduate of an accredited college nursing program, registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario, holding current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification, completion of a post-grad Operating Room course, and having a minimum of one (1) year of current Operating Room experience.

Required competencies include exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work independently and in partnership with a team, a commitment to continuing education, creative problem-solving skills, a strong commitment to customer service, proven critical thinking skills, multitasking abilities, and strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills.

Yes, a minimum of one (1) year of current Operating Room experience is required.
