Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Registered Practical Nursing Program
  • Registered Practical Nurse in good standing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with all patients, physicians, staff, and visitors. Must have an ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) in the English language in order to provide excellent communication with patients, physicians, staff, and visitors. Ability to communicate in additional language(s) is considered an asset.
  • Demonstrated satisfactory work performance and attendance history

Georgian Bay General Hospital (GBGH) is a 113-bed acute care hospital located in Midland, Ontario, Canada. GBGH serves a large catchment area, including the communities of Midland, Penetanguishene, Township of Tiny, Township of Tay, Christian Island, Georgian Bay Township and Springwater Township.
