Requirements

  • Graduate of a recognized Registered Practical Nursing Program
  • Registered Practical Nurse in good standing
  • Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (B.C.L.S.) certification
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills with all patients, physicians, staff, and visitors. Must have an ability to effectively communicate (written and verbal) in the English language in order to provide excellent communication with patients, physicians, staff, and visitors. Ability to communicate in additional language(s) is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • The Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) will collaborate with a dynamic team of healthcare professionals to deliver outstanding patient care to a diverse range of patients recovering from surgical procedures and managing various medical conditions with dedication and expertise.
  • From post-operative recovery to the management of acute medical conditions, the 2 North Medical Surgical floor is equipped to handle a wide spectrum of cases.
  • Focusing on holistic healing, the RN will strive to ensure the well-being and comfort of patients throughout their journey.
