Requirements

  • Education and Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or a related field is required
  • Minimum of 5 years of hands-on reliability engineering experience
  • Familiarity with design for reliability (DFR) principles and practices to optimize product reliability during the design phase
  • Experience with statistical analysis tools like JMP, Minitab, or similar software for data analysis and interpretation
  • Qualifications:
  • Proficiency in reliability testing methodologies, such as accelerated life testing (ALT), environmental stress testing (EST), and failure mode effects analysis (FMEA)
  • Strong understanding of industry standards and regulations related to reliability and quality assurance, such as MIL-STD-810, IPC-A-610, and ISO 9001
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to evolving priorities and challenges
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable products that meet customer requirements and expectations

Responsibilities

  • Perform reliability analysis on Single Board Computers and in some cases, on the peripherals associated with the SBC
  • Assist with reliability questions/calculation questions
  • Attend training classes when assigned
  • Perform Failure Mode and Effects Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
  • Update reports when there has been a board re-spin
