Requirements

  • You should have 5-8 years’ experience along with bachelor's degree in relevant field
  • Knowledge of requirement management processes and tools
  • Set up and configuration of Siemens standard tools and structures for processing requirements, tests and validation and management of its documentation.
  • Accompanying the entire requirement management life cycle process throughout the entire project duration
  • Ensuring the integrity of the requirements in accordance with the rules specified in the requirements management process and requirements management plan.
  • Coordinating and collaborating with requirement owners and other relevant stakeholders, such as the test manager in the project and responsible engineers, to determine appropriate verification methods
  • Reviewing, monitoring, reporting and controlling project progress with regard to the requirement management process
  • Provision of the completeness of the test planning (in addition to the commissioning part) in the bid and project phase in coordination with all interfaces.
  • Details-Oriented with high level of accuracy
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment

Responsibilities

  • Clarifying and specifying RM structures (levels, modules, attributes, etc.) based on defined standards
  • Preparing, coordinating, implementing, and maintaining the RM plan
  • Determining the sources of project requirements (such as customers, standards, conditions) in consultation with the project manager and all relevant project participants, and transferring the details to the RM tool
  • Maintaining and continuously updating the requirements documentation (e.g. requirements database, functional specification, system requirements specification, operating conditions)
  • Assisting system engineering from a methodology perspective with the specification, tracking, and processing of requirements, and with the preparation of the system architecture and technical interfaces
  • Assisting the RAMS manager from a methodology perspective with the specification of RAMS-related requirements and conditions, and with contributions to safety and RAM documents (safety plan, safety documentation, etc.)
  • Reporting the latest status of requirements management on demand
  • Carrying out detailed work for the review of RM-relevant PM@MO milestone results
  • Preparing baselines and associated documentation in the form of requirements verification reports as a basis for verification, validation, and expert appraisal
  • Continuously reviewing and reporting on compliance with RM process requirements and project-specific RM rules
  • Assuring the completeness of the test activities in the bid and project phase, especially of the same, which are not handled by the train tests of the commissioning, for example external test institutes, system tests (e. g. climatic chamber, traction system) etc.
  • Consolidation and specification of the overall test strategy regarding tests as verifications, and coordination with all relevant stakeholders like customer, test manager vehicle, homologation manager, engineering responsible, verification manager etc.
  • Creation of a test management plan and test matrix documentation in the bid phase.
  • Implementing test plan in the requirement management tool in the execution phase
  • Management and controlling of test progress during entire project duration
  • Clarification of the verification methods defined in RM-Tool with all participants (e.g. customer, requirement owners, e.g. engineering responsible) and comparison with the overall test plan (PAP)
  • Controlling of the verification of the customer requirements and internal requirements according to the scope defined in RM-Tool by the requirements owners / engineering responsible
  • Organization of the information and document flow regarding verifications
