  • Post-secondary education minimum; graduate degree preferred
  • 2-3 years in academic research
  • Previous qualitative research experience is highly desirable
  • Training in science, health science, public health, social sciences, or related field is preferred
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications, reference management software, qualitative and quantitative data software, and data management software
  • The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of research standards (e.g., REB requirements, AHS operational approvals) and qualitative (e.g., semi-structures interviews, focus groups) and quantitative (e.g., survey development, evidence synthesis) research


  • Design and develop project materials including consent form templates, study aides, questionnaires, data collection forms, finding tables, etc.
  • Prepares ethics renewals and amendments, and ensures that all research processes and procedures are compliant with research protocol(s), funding agency requirements, and any Institutional Human Ethics or Health Committees.
  • Establishes and fosters necessary involvement from research sites across Canada to meet research mandates.
  • Interacting with participants and facilities including delivering virtual webinars, meeting and phone calls.
  • Assists in the collection and analysis of qualitative and quantitative data (focus groups, individual interviews, surveys).
  • Supports team members with their communication and contacts with sites and receipt and dissemination of study materials.
  • Adheres to study protocol to deliver consistent quality intervention.
  • Interacts and communicates with stakeholders, investigators, team members on a regular basis.
  • Assists in the preparation of publications, posters, presentations, technical and dissemination reports and briefings for different stakeholder groups.
  • Maintains detailed records and field notes.
