  • Working knowledge (clinical, academic, and/or patient-experience) of the project specific bone and joint health conditions (of the knee, back and/or shoulder), and management and treatment of these conditions

Responsibilities

  • Set research activity objectives in consultation with the RAC evaluation team
  • Consent participants into the study, following appropriate ethical protocols
  • Support recruitment activities, as needed
  • Support ethics processes related to approvals and annual updates
  • Conduct research interviews and/or focus group with study participants (patients)
  • Conduct descriptive and interpretative analyses of qualitative data; co-develop and apply emergent coding frameworks
  • Maintain documentation of the analytic process, and iterations of the analytic outputs
  • Ensure and contribute to a rigorous methodological process throughout the course of the study
  • Prepare manuscripts for academic publication and oversee the publication process
  • Write reports summarizing the evaluation, findings, and recommendations for various stakeholders (decision-makers, patients, clinicians)
  • Prepare presentations of evaluation processes and findings to a range of stakeholders, including: RAC evaluation team, health care leaders, patients, policy makers, and decision makers)
  • Undertake literature reviews, as required for study and/or report preparation
