Requirements

  • The successful candidate must hold a first degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Chemical Engineering, Physics, or a closely related discipline with a PhD in the above disciplines and in areas related to the numerical solution of differential equations.
  • The candidate should have experience with optimization and the ability to write computer programs, ideally in Julia and/or Python, with experience with modelling systems.

Responsibilities

  • The Research Fellow will be implementing and solving differential-algebraic models within an optimization based process design framework for the design of flexible and dynamic processes.
  • The eventual process designs will be used to implement a digital twin of a process for electronic waste.
  • The Research Fellow will work together with other researchers involved in experiments and model identification.
