Responsibilities

  • Provides oversight management on assigned project and all staff assigned to project.

  • Provides quality assurance, testing procedures, observation protocols, construction techniques, and timely completion of daily observation activities.
  • Reviews plans for assigned projects, observes, and inspects construction work performed by others and attends pre-construction conferences, progress meetings and safety meetings.
  • Interprets drawings and specifications.
  • Monitors contract cost and schedule; reviews change order preparation as necessary.
  • Reviews submittals and other related construction documents and recommends technical solutions.
  • Performs daily construction observation, daily reports, punch list inspections, and participates in project schedule/invoice reviews.
  • Reviews and approves contractor requisitions for payment.
  • Mentors and/or supervises junior staff.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
