Responsibilities

  • - Conduct Technical Safe and Legal Audits in accordance with the Audit Protocol to identify stores’ risk rating and communicate findings and remedial Action Plans to store and Regional Management
  • - Conduct primary and re-Audits within agreed frequency and timescales
  • - Active member of the audit consistency programme
  • - Provide support to Training stores, to ensure they trade safely and legally through delivering proactive and reactive training/coaching of applicable company policies and procedures
  • - Deliver centres of excellence for our new Managers to train in
  • - Build strong relationships with the retail management teams
  • - Work in partnership with Regional Compliance Managers to ensure that serious hazards are addressed
  • - Where capacity permits & there is a need to conduct investigations, follow ups, support visits as required on an adhoc basis
  • - Ensure own competence is maintained and developed
  • - Provide stores and sites with coaching and guidance on correct and efficient implementation of safe and legal policies and procedures
  • - Audit programme planned and delivered to minimise travel and other costs
  • - Maintain own expenditure within agreed budgetary limits
  • - Conduct Fire Risk Assessments to support Regional Compliance Managers
  • - Attend & participate in team meetings and updates
