Responsibilities

Leads the National Risk & Compliance team and is responsible for the ongoing development of direct reports.
Supports the development, implementation, operation and monitoring of International Compliance systems, with a special focus on ensuring National business needs are met.
Supports the fulfilment of National Top Management’s duties in National Compliance matters in line with International Compliance governance.
Supports with the following National topics, including acting as a point of contact for the relevant regulators: UK - Groceries Supply Code of Practice (GSCOP)
Ireland – Agricultural & Food Supply Chain Unfair Trading Regulations (UTP)
Acts as a Risk & Compliance expert providing advice and support for various stakeholders across the business as necessary.
Coordinates the development and delivery of Compliance related training and guidance material.
Ensures the necessary safeguards are in place, including the monitoring and updating of risk and compliance policies.
Promotes and embeds effective and efficient risk and compliance management process as part of the way ALDI does business.
Oversees the management of the ALDI AlertLine whistleblowing platform.
Engages with a network of departmental Enterprise Risk Management business leads to support in business wide risk assessments.
Supports on the international development of Enterprise Risk Management, including the development and piloting of a new tool.
Supports the development, operation, updating and monitoring of the National Crisis Response Framework.
