  • Undergraduate degree (but preferably Honours/Masters degree) in one of the following:
  • Finance - Economics
  • Risk Management
  • Law - Engineering
  • Management/Business Studies
  • Relevant professional qualifications would be an advantage.
  • Motivated individuals who are passionate about risk management and financial services regulation (risk, compliance, operational resilience and conduct). The range of technical skills our clients are looking for is broad. We need individuals with skills in one or several of the following areas:
  • An ability to understand, interpret and communicate complex regulation;
  • Agility to flex to different roles and support clients with varying requirements;
  • Experience of problem solving and being able to implement and deliver solutions tailored to a client’s needs;
  • Experience of delivering large scale change/advisory initiatives at financial services organizations; and
  • Specific experience in anti-bribery and corruption, integrity testing, organisational culture or conduct risk related projects.

Responsibilities

  • Key responsibilities will include managing the delivery teams of a range of risk management and regulatory related advisory engagements.
  • Driving the development of new propositions and contributing towards the development of the broader staff complement in terms of risk management skills.
  • Identifying the impact of financial services regulatory and supporting clients to adapt to the challenges the new regulatory landscape presents.
  • Overseeing technical analysis and developing an area of specialism as the 'subject matter expert'.
  • Identifying and documenting key systems and controls for demonstrating compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Preparing regulatory analysis and reports.
  • Supporting senior team members through the development of marketing and sales activities and continuous client contact programmes with senior client staff.
  • Relationship building and networking with clients and internally across PwC.
  • Providing input to the debate on development and application of regulatory and leading practice developments.
  • Participating in PwC’s Thought Leadership development.
