Responsibilities

  • To provide proper costing responses to rate enquiries
  • To ensure day to day operations run smoothly, ensuring profiles are updated into relevant systems, + that door-to-door monitoring of status is in place at every step including close coordination with endorsed carriers.
  • To establish and strengthen operational relations with customer contact(s) through daily interactions, regular calls or visits + proactively advising + consulting to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • To document, resolve, analyze all complaints + then identify, share + eliminate root causes.
  • To ensure that shipments are profitable, highlighting with any loss-making shipments to the most senior manager, obtaining prior approval before proceeding.
  • To liaise with customers directly, resolving feedback in a manner that provides explanations, puts the customer at ease + demonstrates that the right corrective actions are put in place to prevent a reoccurrence.
