What clinical areas will I rotate through as a Band 6 physiotherapist?
You will rotate through various acute inpatient areas including Respiratory, Surgery, Trauma and Orthopaedics, Stroke, Acute Medicine, Elderly Medicine, and Urgent Care and Frailty.
Will I need to participate in an on-call service?
Yes, the successful candidate will partake in the respiratory on-call service, providing evening services until 10pm.
Will there be opportunities for continuing professional development?
Absolutely, the department is committed to supporting continuing professional development, including involvement in clinical projects and opportunities to present at the annual Therapies Evidence Based Project Showcase.
What is the approach to mentoring and support for new staff?
You will support newly registered staff during their preceptorship period and may act as a preceptor, completing regular reviews and clinical supervision.
