Responsibilities

  • Leading the security integration of future Defence capabilities, with a primary focus on (but not limited to) projects such as Dreadnought, Replacement Warhead, and AUKUS.
  • As Intelligent Customer, lead the integration of future security capabilities to ensure they align with pan-Defence Lines of Development solutions.
  • Acting as the focal point for the Clyde Security Organisation (CSyO) in meetings and steering groups related to capability delivery on behalf of the AHNBS (Assistant Head of Naval Base Security) as required.
  • Collaborating with the CSyO Assurance team and external Level 2 and Level 3 assurance organisations to ensure compliance with MOD Security policy.
  • Ensuring that future capabilities are Secure by Design, in accordance with JSP 628.
  • Undertaking additional tasks as directed by the AHNBS or DHNBS (Deputy Head of Naval Base Security) to meet business needs.
