Responsibilities

  • As an RTA Lawyer, you'll be responsible for managing your own caseload of litigated fast-track RTA claims, working on cases that have exited the portal process. Your day-to-day tasks will involve investigating both liability and quantum, gathering evidence, and conducting legal research. You'll be drafting pleadings, witness statements, schedules of loss, and statements of case, as well as assessing whether to make, reject, or accept offers. The role requires you to utilise case management systems and legal software efficiently, and ensuring compliance with Pre-Action Protocols, CPR, and funding requirements. Communication will be a key aspect of your role, as you'll engage regularly with clients, witnesses, and other legal professionals to move cases forward.
