Requirements

- Experience of working in a social housing or similar environment with a strong understanding of safeguarding issues for both adults and children
- Ability to identify changes in legislation and policy and put them into practice
- Passionate about keeping colleagues, customers, and communities safe
- Ability to work in partnership with other agencies to resolve issues
- Strong operational lead on safeguarding responses
- Focus on policy compliance and training within Housing Management
- Lead a range of important workstreams such as MHFA and DA Champions
- Support Area and ASB Managers within Housing Management
- Critical to ongoing delivery and development of safeguarding practices
- Maintain strong position within the partnership space through representation at partnership boards
- Further develop improved policy compliance within Housing Management

Responsibilities

- Lead our organisational response to safeguarding and ensure compliance across our housing management services.
- Provide an operational lead on our response to Safeguarding.
- Focus on policy compliance and training within Housing Management.
- Lead a range of other important workstreams such as MHFA and DA Champions.

- Contribute to the ongoing delivery and development of safeguarding practices.
