Responsibilities

  • Achieve territory total product sales targets and associated individual product targets. Carry out sales calls, targeting high sales areas for maximum efficiency and develop new business opportunities with existing and potential clients. Monitor market trends and competitor activity in assigned territory.
  • Manage the patient follow up post stimulator implantation when required.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive account sales plans to ensure increase market penetration and establishing new accounts. Plans own territory or account approach and manages own resources. Prepare important tenders.
  • Analyze sales statistics reports, and perform required administrative sales duties, e.g., filing expenses account reports, scheduling appointments, and making travel plan.
  • Complete and submit timely administration tasks such as customer record keeping (CM), rolling forecasts, monthly highlights, expenses, etc. in line with divisional standards. Manage samples, demo devices, promotional and phone expense budgets as per your plan spreadsheet to ensure expenses budget is contained.
  • Maintain close relationships with key accounts and ensure their requirements are being met by the Company's products where possible. Represent Abbott in a professional manner that aligns with Company image, ensuring activities comply with legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintain business operations in accordance with corporate policies in respect to pricing, quotes, credit terms, expense reporting.
  • Clinical coverage: Provide technical support to clinicians. Demonstrate procedural steps for all involved physician and staff at sites. Conduct in-service programs for not only the cath lab staff, but for ICU personnel as well. Develop and implement field-based physician and staff training programs. Communicate physician feedback and personnel input from case observations.
  • Train Field Service Engineers, customers and other colleagues when and as appropriate. Compliance with local and corporate policies and procedures.
  • Act as Company ambassador at all time i.e represent the Company in a professional manner and with highest integrity as the prime contact with facilities, physicians and patients.
