  • B.Sc. or Business degree or equivalent
  • Must have at least 5-7 years of experience as an SAP HCM Consultant or similar role
  • Should have knowledge and working experience of various functionalities of HCM including:
  • Time Management (TM) and Personnel Administration (PA)
  • Compensation Management including long-term incentives.
  • Integration of SAP with third parties including SuccessFactors
  • Integration points within SAP HCM to FI, SD, PS, etc.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with internal clients, gather requirements, and explain complex technical concepts in an understandable manner.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to troubleshoot issues, optimize solutions, and address business requirements effectively. Precision in configuring and documenting HR processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Documentation Skills: Experience in reverse engineering the SAP HCM solutions, documenting the functional specification for the HCM configurations.
  • Experience in working with ABAP developers on technical solutions; basic ABAP understanding is a plus, but not required.
  • Results-oriented, self-starter, capable of working independently and within a team environment to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to manage demanding and time-constrained tasks effectively. Experience in establishing a project plan and facilitating the setting of priorities.
  • Willing to work outside of normal business hours as part of a global team.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implement systems solutions: In collaboration with other SAP Solution Analysts and Technical Team members, provide advice to management and stakeholders, recommend a course of action for required solutions in the following areas: solution scoping, requirements analysis, gap analysis, feasibility, functional design, application configuration, technical specification, testing, production deployment, support and training.
  • Actively engage with HRIS and all interested stakeholders and representative user groups in determining business requirements and solution strategy.
  • Communicate recommendations, consult with Technical Team members, review progress, demonstrate interim work results, conduct user testing and coordinate release to production.
  • Manage projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize tasks and mitigate risks.
  • Provide support and subject matter expertise during the execution of testing activities and resolve any specific issues identified during testing.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and propose enhancements to existing systems or processes to optimize HR operations.
  • Escalated production support as needed.
