Requirements

  • Systems engineering background with some awareness and experience of different phases of the CADMID cycle from concept to manufacture, but with a focus on demonstration and manufacture phases, including; V&V planning, trials planning, qualification evidence generation and collation, generation of certification documents
  • Awareness of industry standard systems engineering processes

Responsibilities

  • Progressing the system design verification and validation activities for the project;
  • Supporting the maturation of the qualification strategy;
  • Supporting key design reviews;
  • Collation of sub-system evidence to support compliance arguments, presentation to internal governance team and customer for sign off;
  • Generation of progress metrics and presentation to senior team;
  • Identification of key risk areas;
  • Opportunities to form relationships, both at a customer interaction level and with industry partners and suppliers, including supporting relevant customer working groups;
  • Engagement with sub-system design authorities.
