Responsibilities

  • Ensure timely redressal of grievances on the spot
  • Promote and follow a proactive approach that aims at zero dispute
  • Oversee overtime and absenteeism of the departments and address any discrepancies in data submitted
  • Collaborate with department heads to ensure optimal distribution of workload and overtime
  • Address issues and queries related to documentation of workmen
  • Identify skill sets of workers, create a pool of workers for multiskilling and plan for effective utilization of multiskilled workmen in coordination with that particular department
  • Coordinate with training department to implement OJT (On-the-job training)
  • Liaise and maintain good relations with the legal authority for timely settlement of issue in our favour
  • Ensure adherence to hygiene guidelines (OHSAS 18001 Guidelines) in various areas like canteen
  • Oversee timely distribution of food stuff to the department and from the counter
  • Organize various events for welfare of the workforce
