Requirements

  • Prior experience from either a PR/public affairs consultancy, the Oireachtas, journalism or in-house communications team

Responsibilities

  • Develop strong relationships with clients, becoming their trusted advisor and ensuring Hanover is their go-to for strategic counsel. Lead client meetings with confidence and authority, and serve as the primary liaison across various client accounts
  • Deliver insightful and forward-thinking corporate affairs advice that not only meets but anticipates the needs of both current and prospective clients, helping them navigate complex environments with ease
  • Direct and manage comprehensive media and stakeholder engagement programs, providing robust support during interactions to facilitate productive outcomes and strengthen client-stakeholder relationships
  • Build and maintain a network of influential contacts within key stakeholder groups and sectors, positioning Hanover as a leader in public and corporate affairs
  • Leverage your active business network to uncover new opportunities, cross-selling Hanover's services across different teams and offices to drive growth and collaboration
  • Take charge of new business initiatives, orchestrating marketing efforts and managing pipelines to ensure a steady flow of opportunities and engagements
  • Ensure the seamless execution of client work across multiple accounts by conducting internal account management meetings, tracking team progress, managing resources effectively, and delegating tasks to meet client objectives
  • Provide leadership and mentorship to junior team members, fostering their professional growth and development
  • Keep a finger on the pulse of media outlets and parliamentary activities, identifying prime opportunities for client coverage and engagement that align with strategic goals.
