Responsibilities

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of employee health insurance plans, including medical, dental, and vision coverage.
  • Support the administration of the America’s Health and Welfare benefits including, monthly invoice processing, updating training materials, US Death notification, ADA and Workers Compensation processes. Conduct regular audits of benefits plans and processes to ensure compliance with regulations and company policies.
  • Support non-core benefits administration such as HSA, FSA, Commuter, and voluntary benefits.
  • Support employees by guiding them on leave programs and processes (STD, FMLA, state paid FMLA, Parental, other), complete employer claims, review reports to instruct payroll, update employee leave status in workday based on reports from leave management vendor.
  • Maintain up to date knowledge of federal, state, and local laws regarding leave, disability, and confidentiality of employee personal health information/data.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employee inquiries regarding benefits, providing exceptional customer service and resolution support.
  • Ensure benefits programs comply with federal and state laws and regulations, such as ERISA, COBRA, HIPAA, and the Affordable Care Act.
