Responsibilities

  • Supporting the growth of the Casualty business in our Madrid office, following Patricia´s leaving. Dealing with the underwriting tasks, such as pricing and assessing liability risks, following our risk appetite, Underwriting Guidelines and Treaty framework.
  • Developing LSM market relationships with our brokers and clients. Having commercial skills and a previous broking network in the Spanish market is required for this position.
  • Dealing with complex renewals (negotiating renewal terms & conditions with the brokers, assessing the exposure development, loss experience, issuing the appropriate referrals, etc.).
  • As such, this headcount should be getting familiar with all our in-house tools (e.g. Rulebook, DOT, PowerBI, RFID, Peer Reviews and Underwriting Authority Governance, etc.).
  • Additionally, handling all the underwriting related tasks is also required, such as file completion, peer reviews and participating on the IPR as appropriate.
