Responsibilities

  • Maintain systems to protect data from unauthorized users. Identify, report, and resolve security violations.
  • Provide technical analysis and sustainment support for the enterprise for IA tools and applications and assist with the application of Defense-In-Depth signatures and perimeter defense controls to diminish network threats.
  • Ensure system compliance with DoD RMF for DoD IT.
  • Comply with Federal Information Processing Standards Publication (FIPS PUB) 140-2.
  • Follow the security requirements and processes by the Department of Defense Cloud Computing Security Requirements Guide (SRG) and DLA Cloud Hosting Strategy.
  • Provide quality control checking for security documents, including graphics, white papers, guides, and manuals.
  • Consult with technical staff on collecting and organizing information to determine the format, content, and organization of technical/security documentation.
  • Provide daily supervision of, and direction to, computer security system staff.
