Responsibilities

  • Assist the P&C team on a broad range of employment law related matters for the UK and Ireland, and potentially for other European countries
  • Support the P&C team to provide direction and delivery related to organizational design, talent acquisition, succession management, talent management and development, employee relations matters, resource planning, compensation and benefits, and performance management whilst applying your knowledge of local laws and regulations
  • Support the P&C team to ensure alignment and implementation of Mastercard's HR strategies, policies and programmes, and create and deliver cost effective HR solutions for complex business issues
  • Partner with our global Employment Law Group to ensure consistency in global approach while adhering to local laws
  • Stay up on legislative evolutions in the allocated European markets including assessing the potential impact for Mastercard and proposals for amending legal documents and existing practices
  • Participate from a broad employment law perspective to projects in the M&A field
