Requirements

  • - Experience of designing multi-disciplinary capital projects within a design & build collaborative environment.
  • - Leading and managing people, teams and designer’s responsibilities under CDM.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to team to manage the design delivery for the programme to the correct standards and specifications.
  • Lead your team to produce design deliverables, with consideration of health & safety, the environment, construction, procurement, the customer, and Anglian Water operations.
  • Develop new ways of working and solutions to reduce carbon, protect and increase natural capital, address climate change, and embrace innovations and new digital technologies.
  • Develop the engineering resource strategy and plan and allocate resources.
  • Lead your team to collaborate with and support the Stage 1 Solutions Team, including taking responsibility for the design aspects.
  • Measure, monitor and report on design performance and risk management.
  • Fulfil the role and responsibilities of the CDM Principal Designer delegating duties and undertaking CDM competency assessments.
  • Form collaborative relationships, manage key technical stakeholders and develop relationships with the Anglian Water engineering community.
