Responsibilities

  • The Senior Design Manager will aid the EC&I Layout and Installation team to develop an integrated EC&I block taking on board layout constraints from system owners.
  • The Senior Design Manager - layout and installations will be responsible for routing of cables and providing guidance on the installation of cables with other building services such as HVAC.
  • They will be expected to model layouts to share with architects and BIM engineers, either through use of 3D CAD system, or generating sketches for a CAD engineer to model.
  • The candidate will be expected to input on construction sequence and analyse impact of layout changes with respect to the schedule.
  • The EC&I block houses both electrical components and C&I cabinets, so experience of layout of C&I is beneficial.
  • The Senior Design Manager will support ongoing requirements generation (and/or assumptions where requirements not available), ongoing risk identification and mitigation.
