What are the main responsibilities of a Senior Designer in this position?
The main responsibilities include serving as the main point of contact for all CAD-related tasks on assigned projects, establishing and updating project file setups with CAD for the full design team, creating CAD project execution plans, coordinating with discipline leads, producing design and construction drawings, and producing project imagery for documents and presentations.
What qualifications are required for the Senior Designer position?
The successful candidate will have an associate degree (or higher) in Architectural Technology, Architecture, or related field AND at least 8 years of relevant experience; OR at least 10 years of relevant architectural and CAD design experience if no degree. Additional certifications and experience with CAD/BIM software are preferred.
What skills and experience are ideal for the Senior Designer role?
Ideal candidates will have experience setting up projects in Revit and other CAD/BIM software, preparing architectural design documents, using CAD/BIM software to create technical drawings and presentations, staying current on software updates, and holding sustainable design credentials like LEED AP or WELL AP.
