Responsibilities

  • National responsibility to strategically manage the Mass and Supermarket channels by utilizing category and retailer data to identify trends, market gaps and opportunities for In Store Bakery, and Dairy Case. Grow the portfolio in alignment with the Bakehouse business plan by executing effective merchandising, assortment, pricing, and promotions.
  • Lead and motivate 6 direct reports and a total team of 12 sales professionals. Hire and manage qualified customer executives as needed.
  • Analyze portfolio P&L to develop long term sustainable growth solutions.
  • Develop and grow high-level relationships with key customers.
  • Identify and manage brokers and distributors and collaborate to optimize the business. Establish KPI’s and develop a broker scorecard to ensure execution of channel and customer goals.
  • Collaborate with executive team members to build an annual business plan with clear objectives. Track progress vs plan and recommend course corrections as needed.
  • Direct and monitor trade spending by creating efficient and effective promotions that align with the annual budget, conducting post-promotion analysis and adjusting as needed to deliver net sales targets.
  • Attending customer meetings, trade shows, and broker meetings - must have ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
