  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA) or qualified auditor (CMIIA, CPIIA, or technology auditor (CISA, CISM, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of financial and/or technology controls and e-commerce retail operating processes.
  • Solid understanding of internal auditing, internal controls, and risk management.
  • Good understanding of technology, including ecommerce and digital technologies.
  • Confident using and interrogating large data sets and using data analysis tools.
  • Strong analytical and report writing skills.

Responsibilities

  • Perform risk assessments on key financial and/or technology processes and/or e-commerce related business activities and use this information to guide what to cover in audits, ensuring that major risks are identified, understood and addressed.
  • Perform audits and risk-based reviews of the robustness of financial, technology, and/or ecommerce-related controls to provide assurance that controls are working effectively.
  • Use appropriate tools and data interrogation techniques to support audit delivery.
  • Use your knowledge of issues and best practices to identify control weaknesses and assess associated risks.
  • Agree appropriate actions with senior management and leadership teams to mitigate identified risks.
  • Prepare and issue reports for distribution to senior management and Board members.
  • Ensure issues are effectively resolved or escalated when necessary.
