Requirements

  • 5+ years of project management experience, including managing workflow
  • A minimum of 5 years supporting executives in deadline-driven environments
  • Experience implementing new technology tools/initiatives preferred
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, PowerPoint), proficiency in Thomson Reuters Legal Tracker/SAP systems is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Legal Support Services:
  • Coordinate internal signatures for agreements and ensure delivery of fully executed documentation. Provide reporting of fully executed agreements to the business.
  • Manage real estate/lease transaction tracking reports on a periodic basis
  • Serve as system administrator for Legal Tracker software handling all legal billings
  • Support special projects by creating Excel charts
  • Liaise with internal business client and facilitate work flows between Legal team and the business
  • Act as program administrator for Workshare Compare and Teraview systems
  • Handle corporate credit card management
  • Organize correspondence distribution through LRE's legal inbox
  • Assist with file management in Content Server and Sharepoint platforms
  • Provide research/documentation support for committee involvement
  • Executive/Administrative Assistance:
  • Manage Outlook calendar, schedule meetings/appointments & respond to inquiries
  • Prepare correspondence & PowerPoint presentations;
  • Prepare Periodic & Quarterly Business update reports
  • Assist VP with Law Society filing requirements
  • Monitor expenditures versus budget; oversee invoice processing
  • Coordinate CLE sessions/internal training requirements/performance cycle deadlines
  • Process Improvement Initiatives:
  • Identify/implement new technology tools/initiatives within LRE's legal department
  • Contribute towards continuous process improvements/best practices
