Requirements

  • Willingness to travel to GigaBerlin as required
  • At least 5 years’ relevant experience at a law firm and/or in-house corporate international environment, ideally with a commercial legal background, with an exceptional ability to handle a high workload of complex legal matters at the same time
  • Team player with the ability to proactively identify problems, drive projects, and execute pragmatic/creative legal and business solutions on a timely basis

Responsibilities

  • Support commercial and procurement teams on a variety of transactions and negotiations, including drafting and reviewing contracts in connection with construction, production equipment, and other commercial transactions (i.e., logistics, real estate, utility agreements and NDA’s).
  • Manage the enforcement of respective contracts (i.e., warranty claims, default notices, mechanics' liens, general claim management as well as dispute resolution)
  • Provide strategic legal advice to manufacturing, engineering, and construction leads
  • As needed, assist in transactions to support the construction, infrastructure, and production equipment teams on a global level
  • Support on special projects
  • Handle all other legal day-to-day work
