Responsibilities

  • Element owner of Welding Gas cutting and IST member of Machine Guarding
  • Carrying audit for unsafe conditions of U#1 to 5
  • Carrying out job specific training of work which is being carried out and carrying out SI on schedule basis
  • Preparing PPTs and keeping records of the audit observations
  • Taking precautions, issuing permits and safely carrying out work at height, confined space and high risk areas and attending safety meetings and maintaining housekeeping
  • Implementation of CAPA and Review of JSA
  • Penalty to colleagues and contractor workers as per OHS requirements
  • Provide vision and leadership in collaboration with the Station Manager and management team to station personnel to help achieve the goals and objectives of the business unit
  • Provide strategic direction and guidance to the turbine & auxiliary’s maintenance team to facilitate maintenance in a safe, efficient and cost effective manner for Tirora station
  • Initiate and manage innovative plant maintenance standards required to remain competitive
  • Provide input to long term maintenance plans based on predictive & preventive maintenance principles
  • Cross-train the maintenance employees to handle diverse functions
  • Develop a team-based working environment and cultivate a corporate culture dedicated to continuous improvement
  • Establish, Develop and maintain positive working relationships with employees, to satisfy internal and external customers of the station
  • Provide budget inputs and control cost to maintain yearly budgets
