Responsibilities

  • Lead the team to design and implement competitive and equitable compensation structures (merit pay, salary ranges/structures, incentive/bonus compensation plans, and recognition programs).
  • Conduct market research and benchmarking studies and analyze the potential impact of alternatives to ensure our programs remain competitive.
  • Provide consultation, training and education for supervisors, managers, and employees on all total rewards programs.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for HR Operations team systems and tools.
  • Maintain alignment with Payroll, Accounting, and IT on interdependencies.
  • Ensure accurate, timely, and reportable employee data. Strive for and model impeccable recordkeeping and reliable reporting capabilities.
  • Ensure fair and consistent application of policies, practices, and procedures for performance management and employee relations.
  • Provide guidance and thoughtful input to HR Ops resources as they navigate challenging investigations or cases.
  • Drive the team to automate workflows, embrace effective use of tools and technology, eliminating “paper” based procedures.
  • Lead developing, documenting, and implementing SOPs (in alignment with SOC), regularly reviewing HR workflow, mapping existing processes and making recommendations to streamline functions, and supporting the other members of the HR Ops team in these activities.
  • Ensure compliance as it pertains to state, local, and federal laws on payroll and benefits.
  • Produces, collects, and analyzes data related to various organizational processes and procedures to continuously improve those processes.
  • Uses data as evidence to support recommendations within the organization, to drive business performance and growth.
  • Transforms organizational metrics/data into useful insight to assist leaders in making more informed decisions about their workforce.
