Responsibilities

  • Lead innovation in employee engagement – understanding trends and best practices in field to inform strategy and execution.
  • Partner with Social Impact Leadership to co-create strategy and set goals with clear success metrics.
  • Execute employee engagement programs offering primary support to core areas within Social Impact and secondary support to broad-based employee-choice efforts across the Best Buy enterprise.
  • Manage team supporting employee engagement efforts such as Geek Squad Academy, Month of Service, Nonprofit Board Placement, Matching Gifts, Sponsorship Activation, Disaster Relief and other strategic initiatives/resources that are designed/developed.
  • Develop cohesive and streamlined approach for all ambassador networks, including but not limited to, Geek Squad Academy Event Managers/Teen Tech Center Liaisons/St. Jude Walk & Run Captains/ERG & FIN Leaders, to allow them to effectively activate engagement efforts with key stakeholder partners.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (as appropriate) to create employee engagement communication plan, training materials, etc.
