Responsibilities

  • - NOC operations team: automated and facilities change for the NOC.
  • - We figure out ways to make the NOC more efficient. We must be extremely efficient, using one-touch tools.
  • - WebEx-building automation for tools.
  • - Work in, around, or knowledge of the NOC environment.
  • - We get problems, and we provide solutions.
  • - Tools - evaluate tools for the NOC team; monitoring and alerting; evaluate new tools; someone who can evaluate operation tools.

  • - Proof of concepts- big panda- monitoring tools, install and hand off.
  • - Upfront work, write the code, and work with the vendor to get it launched.
