What is the primary role of a Senior Personality Disorder Case Manager?
The primary role is to case manage up to 10 complex service users with a diagnosis of Personality Disorder, primarily Emotionally Unstable Personality Disorder (EUPD), while providing intensive case management and facilitating problem-solving skills and self-responsibility towards recovery.
What model of care is employed in this role?
The predominant model of care is Structured Clinical Management (SCM), along with the application of the MCFT Borderline Personality Disorder Policy.
What therapeutic interventions will I be expected to deliver?
You will engage in the delivery of personality disorder approved NICE therapies including SMC, MBT, and DBT, as well as trauma-based psychotherapeutic interventions such as Sensory Motor therapy and EMDR.
Will I have any supervisory responsibilities?
Yes, you will be responsible for the supervision, mentorship, and training of junior staff.
Will I need to work with other services?
Yes, you will liaise with Core 24 services (e.g. AE Mental Health Liaison) to achieve appropriate outcomes for service users and collaborate with internal and external agencies.
Are flexible working arrangements available?
Yes, flexible working requests will be considered for all roles.
