Responsibilities

  • The successful candidate will play a crucial role in supporting Programme and Project Managers to deliver the Genomics Delivery Plan for Wales programme of work to time, within scope and resource allocation.
  • To achieve this the successful candidate will work closely with a variety of stakeholders from across Wales including clinical, laboratory and academic colleagues, Welsh Government, charitable organisations and the private sector.
  • The post holder must demonstrate strong communication and administration skills to support the delivery of complex projects in a rapidly evolving and uncertain landscape designed to transform healthcare through the use of genomics; to meet short and long-term aims in partnership with multi-discipline professionals and patients.
  • They must be able to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels, and have the ability to work as part of a team.
  • The successful candidate will be able to evidence experience of working in an environment where changing circumstances are the norm.
