Responsibilities

  • Advise potential and current dual-enrolled students
  • Develop relationships with and mentor dual-enrolled students
  • Maintain timely and accurate records of interactions with dual-enrolled students
  • Develop and maintain dual-enrolled advising resources
  • Assist with dual-enrollment student application and registration process
  • Develop dual-enrolled student transition plans and processes
  • Make onsite visits to local school districts
  • Schedule counselor meetings and parent information nights with local high schools
  • Represent the Office of K-12 Partnerships at recruitment and retention activities and events
  • Respond to dual-enrolled student inquiries
  • Alert dual-enrolled students to options and new opportunities consistent with their growth and development
  • Plan appropriate outreach to dual-enrolled students experiencing academic difficulty
  • Provide targeted information to dual-enrolled student cohorts
  • Communicate with University faculty and other administrators
  • Be a campus partner with University academic and administrative units
  • Participate in intentional and ongoing partnership development activities with local school districts
  • Participate in opportunities such as University and/or community committees, task forces, working groups, etc.
  • Use Customer Relation Management systems
  • Use Student Tracking system
