Responsibilities

  • Own the global vision and strategy for the category - e.g. themes, promotional/offers ideas, aisle structure/ranking, assortment opportunities, category specific product requirements - including what is standardised and localised
  • Provide guidance on category content and product requirements: work closely with cross functional teams to build and launch product, assets and creative; work with local teams to ensure high quality storefronts and a high standard of execution for campaigns aligned with global vision and objectives
  • Tell the consumer story: Use performance data, consumer feedback, consider seasonality and Industry trends to tell the consumer experience story. As the consumer story owner you will use this story to enhance the consumer journey, drive new strategies, and influence stakeholders
  • Merchandising calendar and Promotional plans: Develop and manage a global site merchandising calendar, planning key retail moments and other promotional offers to maximize reach, relevance and impact; ensure that campaigns align with product strategies, regional, cultural, and seasonal trends
  • Data-Driven Optimization: Generate and share insights, learnings and best practices with local merchandisers utilizing data, insights, and industry analysis to continually refine merchandising strategies and campaign designs, optimizing engagement, conversion rates, and ROI. Measure platform health and report on performance regularly against key metrics with clear insights and recommendations
  • Operational Excellence: Develop and maintain effective workflows, processes, and timelines for merchandising activities, ensuring efficient and flawless execution of all merchandising initiatives
