Requirements

  • Degree in Computer Science, Physics, Computer Engineering, Information Security, Electrical Engineering or related field or proof of exceptional skills in related fields, with practical engineering experience
  • 5+ years Software Testing experience
  • Demonstrable experience solving difficult QA problems (scalability, reliability, reporting, parallelization, etc)
  • Passionate about troubleshooting failures to determine root cause
  • Experience in designing automation frameworks and developing test automation software
  • Proficient with one or more of the following: Typescript, Python, JavaScript, Ruby, Java, and/or C#
  • Working knowledge of test methodologies, processes, and tools (Playwright, Cypress, Selenium, Appium, JIRA, STLC, Test Management tool –ALM, Zephyr)
  • Knowledge of relational databases/SQL
  • Good understanding of CI/CD principles
  • Excellent communication skills, very detail oriented and evidence of exceptional ability
  • Passionate about improving the customer experience

Responsibilities

  • Design and develop robust automated tests for regression, performance, and stress tests using industry standard tools
  • Specify, design, develop, integrate, and maintain test automation frameworks and tools
  • Build CI/CD pipelines to execute and report automated tests
  • Write backend and frontend integration tests as well as end-to-end tests for RESTful APIs and Web UI
  • Triage execution failures and address gaps between existing tests and the automation framework to ensure a highly reliable and performant system
  • Provide technical leadership, driving and performing engineering best practices to initiate, plan, and execute large-scale, cross-functional, and company-wide critical programs
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build and validate end-end functionality
