The primary focus of the Senior Staff Wellbeing Practitioner role is on providing proactive wellbeing advice and support, particularly pertaining to psychological health and emotional wellbeing for employees at Whittington Health.
What types of sessions will the post holder be expected to facilitate?
The post holder will be expected to facilitate group sessions such as Trauma informed conversations and reflective sessions, as well as deliver 1:1 and group wellbeing interventions using low intensity evidence-based psychological and coaching techniques.
Will the Senior Staff Wellbeing Practitioner have a role in promoting wellbeing initiatives?
Yes, the Senior Staff Wellbeing Practitioner will plan health and wellbeing promotion campaigns and support the development of initiatives that address employee needs identified during listening events.

When will the new NHS pay rates take effect for this position?
The new NHS pay rates will take effect from autumn 2024; however, if your employment starts before the 24/25 pay scales are implemented, you will be paid under the 23/24 pay scales with any backpay adjusted accordingly.
