Responsibilities

  • International and interdisciplinary cooperation: As Senior Strategic Buyer Electronic Purchasing, you will be part of the new company to be set up in the future and thus contribute to a globally networked team of around 4300 colleagues operating in over 50 countries.
  • Part of your tasks will be to analyze the portfolio to be managed and to develop, define and implement the material field strategy in cooperation with the business units (BU) and plants.
  • You will be in charge of the commercial aspects of the assigned supplier management, e.g. preparing and conducting annual price negotiations and negotiating contracts with suppliers.
  • You are jointly responsible for the operational support of the plants worldwide to ensure the supply of goods.
  • You will assist in the preparation of negotiation meetings with top level management.
